Ethnographies of diagnostic work

The PalCom project organized a workshop entitled
Ethnographies of Diagnostic Work
at Lancaster University, April 17-18 2007.

25 presentations explored everyday practices of diagnostic work in a range of very different settings: from medical practice to food preparation, police work, software debugging, and technical telephone helplines, to education and railway maintenance.
